This review is mostly about the food since most of the time, I get my order to go, so I can't really review the service other than I don't have to wait too long for my order. I agree that panera's prices are a little on the high side considering you are getting sandwiches and soups, but I think it's reasonable, at least to me, since they do serve fresh bread and healthy options. So what do I get here? the turkey avocado sandwich with chicken noodle soup or grilled cheese with tomato soup. The french onion soup is also good. I also like the cinnamon crunch bagel. I haven't tried any pasta dishes here other than the side of mac and cheese, which is also good. So far, the food has not disappointed me. I will update if I see any issues with service.

Eden the cashier is great. I did not like flatbread I got and she's like "oh ok I'll get them to make you a new one" and I received a new sandwich for free and it was awesome.

Tables are left with crumbs on them. And very rarely I get a thank you. But that is common anymore every where.

One of the worst Panera Bread locations that I have ever used for catering. They do not have a concept of time when I had placed the order two days in advance. This was bothersome to me since I had a lunch appointment with a client and was feeding the staff. There was just no sense of urgency here. I had asked that the sandwiches have spreads on the side.... this did not happen. They make the sandwiches earlier in the morning so by the time they are served, they get mushy. The order was wrong... I was in a hurry so could not have them fix it. I have been to better locations, but this seems to be a common thing... the staff does what they want, rather than what the customer asks for and needs.

I've been to more than a few Panera's (or St Louis Bread as they're called elsewhere) and the food is pretty consistent across the spectrum. The meat is not the highest quality or quantity (cheap, sliced lunchmeat) and they usually butter the hell out of everything. Service is pretty good but the prices are way high for what you get. I suppose Butler needs a samich shop that has 'normal' food i.e. corporate but this isn't my cup of tea.

Great place for tea & healthy breakfasts, social gathering. But why can't I get a spoon to get my tea bag out without askin?!?!?!

To whom it may concern, Good afternoon, I have the opportunity to dine at Panera on a regular basis. The Panera Bread location in Butler, PA is phenominal. The staff is great. The location is always exceptionally clean. The service over exceeds my expectations every time. That's my main reason for this email. The service that I receive every time that I am here. There is one exceptional employee that I would like to recognize. Sarah, who is not only attentive but she is also very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and drinks that that are offered at this location. As I am someone who is lactose intolerant her suggestion to use soy milk in my latte as a substitute impressed me. She is very pleasant, always smiling, and always takes a few extra minutes to make sure everything is right with your order and to wish you a good rest of the day. As a former restaurant owner, I would have counted myself very lucky to have an employee like her. I can make a soup or salad or sandwich at home, but I know from experience that it is the service that can make or break an establishment. In closing I would like to say that though i am only in Butler for two more months I will definitely frequent Panera Bread when I visit here and in the other locations in my travel. Daniel J. Tasty soups and salads. The breads are delicious, but the sandwiches are skimpy. Expect to be hungry when you leave, unless you normally live on bird seed.
